Washington Idaho Symphony

We are the Arts

The Washington Idaho Symphony Orchestra has performed continuously since 1972 in the Moscow/Pullman and Lewiston/Clarkston cities, bringing international soloists to our community where businesses have formed, people have grown, and our communities have matured.

Our symphony orchestra delivers high quality classical music. Our thriving orchestra helps to support, and in turn, is supported by local businesses and individuals. Enjoying classical music is vital to the cultural fabric of our community.  The Washington Idaho Symphony believes our audience members and supporters build our community, and that is why we are community-minded and proud to bring live, professional music and culture to our area!

Musicians of the Washington Idaho Symphony are music faculty members from Washington State University and the University of Idaho, as well as graduate music students and community members. We host guest soloists and conductors adding flair to performances. We are in the 46th Season (2017-18) performing five concerts, with back-to-back performances on September 23-24, October 28-29, January 27-28, March 24-25, and April 21-22. Explore this site to learn about the music we perform, guest performers we welcome, and locations where you can come to Live Life Live!
