Welcome from the Board President| Rudy Greg Trejo, M.Ed.
Washington Idaho Symphony Board of Directors
On behalf of the Washington Idaho Symphony Board of Directors, welcome! Now in it’s 46th year, the Association continues to provide our community with rich music produced from talented local musicians. The Association has had continued success because of our musicians, donors, sponsors, and concert attendees. As they say, it takes a village!
I am thankful to all those supporters and community members who celebrate the arts and the richness of classical music. Know that the Board of Directors strives to promote the mission of the Association while being active and engaged members of our community.
If there are any thoughts you may have, please feel free to reach out. In addition, if you’re interested in potentially joining the Board and helping us to achieve our Mission, please contact me. Until then, thank you and I look forward to seeing you at the concert!

The Washington Idaho Symphony is seeking community members for various volunteer opportunities or to join our Board of Directors.
Please consider working with us to fulfill our mission to bring live classical music to all ages in the rural Whitman and Asotin counties of Washington and the Latah and Nez Perce counties of Idaho, while providing an outstanding opportunity for the region’s most accomplished musicians to participate in challenging repertoire and performance. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities, as well, such as concert support and event coordination.
Members of the board should plan to attend one monthly meeting and assist with one or more committees. The term is three years in length. This is an unpaid, volunteer position.
For more information about volunteering or board membership, please contact the Washington Idaho Symphony office at 509.332.3408 or Info@WashingtonIdahoSymphony.org
