Ways to Donate

Your donation to the Washington Idaho Symphony Orchestra serves an organization committed to the promotion of classical music by employing local artists and providing orchestra leadership. The Board of Directors is led by a locally elected President, but all Board members serve on a volunteer basis. The symphony conductor and all musicians are paid for their efforts and compensated for expenses such as travel. Ticket sales only cover a third of the real costs of ensuring the quality of orchestral performances, therefore, we rely on donations to continue the triumphant legacy of bringing live classical music to all ages in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.

Several Donation categories are supported ranging from Sustaining Givers, Season Sponsors, Contributors, and Donors. Explore the options shown here. You can make your Donation through this web site, using your credit card through PayPal, or contact us to discuss how you can contribute to the Washington Idaho Symphony Orchestra.

Guest Soloist Sponsors have their Donations applied specifically to recruiting, funding, and otherwise covering the costs of bringing talents to our Orchestra for performances. In some cases, those soloists recruit exceptional people from within our community who are not already a member of the Washington Idaho Symphony Orchestra, in other cases the performers are renowned soloists normally performing with other orchestras in the United States, and from around the world.

The Young Artists Soloists are revealed from within our communities as win recognition in categories of composers, instrumentalists, and vocalists. Although young artists pay a nominal fee to enter the competition, the selected artist is selected to perform with the Washington Idaho Symphony Orchestra at the annual January concert. Your Donation is applied to that recognition’s expenses.
